Light Housing 4.1 Light Switch 4.2 Batteries Things to remember when using your Maybe Baby™ • To remove the viewfinder – pull the entire black viewfinder out.  • Apply the saliva sample to the flat internal glass surface of the viewfinder (refer 2.2 on the above diagram), or see below.  • The Eyepiece or rotating part of the viewfinder (refer 2.1 on the above diagram) should not be unscrewed. It should rotate side to side but the viewfinder should always remain as one piece. • The Eyepiece or rotating part of the viewfinder is used to focus on the patterns in your sample, rotating clockwise and anti-clockwise will bring your sample in and out of focus (see How does Maybe Baby Work) The whole instrument is protected by a cover. Just pull the Maybe Baby straight out. Should the grey housing for the bottom come off, reinsert it, part-rotate it to lock, and then pull straight out again.  Should you need to change or adjust the batteries, twist the grey housing slightly to unlock it, and then pull it out.  The batteries are easy to poke out by inserting a wire, or end of a paper clip, into a small hole on the other side of the capsule (underneath in this picture). Clean them, and reinsert them, flat (Positive +ive) side up, and the slightly rounded side down. Should they need replacing you need 2x SR44 or equivalent (obtainable from watch shops or pharmacies).
